What people want: jobs, frustrations, and wins

Discover Agents uses a simple, well-known way to understand a customer: what they're trying to get done, what's frustrating them, and what they'd love.

  • What they're trying to get done: the thing the person really wants to accomplish (practical, emotional, and social). Some are smaller supporting tasks that make the main one possible.
  • What's frustrating them: what's hard, risky, or annoying. Two kinds matter here: the pain of doing the job the way they do it today, and what they'd worry about if they handed the job to an agent (losing control, mistakes piling up, who's on the hook when it goes wrong).
  • What they'd love: the outcomes they want, from the must-haves (the basics they expect) up to the wow (the unexpected delight). In between sit the nice-to-haves.

Where you'll see it

On the Check it page of the blueprint, each customer group has its own profile (its own things-to-get-done, frustrations, and wins), opened from a popup, because different groups genuinely want different things. (See Customer segments.)

Reading a group's frustrations and wins is the fastest way to feel whether your idea actually matters to them.
