No idea is proven yet. It rests on things you're assuming are true, and if any of them is wrong, the whole thing falls over. This section surfaces the biggest ones so you test them before you build.
Four angles to check
Together, these cover the four questions any new idea has to answer:
- Do people want it?: do the customers actually want this?
- Can you build it?: can you technically build and deliver it?
- Does it make money?: do the numbers add up (cost, pricing, margins)?
- Will it hold up?: will it survive over time (rules, competition, models changing)?
The 1–2 most important ones are flagged Check first. Some are tagged Market gap: they come from a gap a competitor leaves open, so you check whether that gap is a real opening or a dead end nobody actually wants.
