Finding the opportunity

What is a problem area?

A problem area is a kind of problem a group of people keeps hitting, one that isn't solved yet or is solved badly. It's not a solution. "Getting paid on time as a freelancer" is a problem area. "An invoicing app" is a solution to it.

Discover Agents maps 4–5 problem areas for the space you chose, each one grounded in what people genuinely struggle with, drawn from real signals, not made up. Each one shows the struggle in plain terms and, where we found them, the voices behind it (what real people actually said) and when it was researched.

Why start here, not with a solution?

Because the best ideas come from a problem worth solving, not from a solution hunting for a problem. Picking the problem area first keeps everything after it (the opportunities, the agent) tied to a real need.

You pick one problem area to go deeper on.
