Your boards and account
How many boards do I get, how do I earn another, and what are credits?

Why it works this way
Your first board is free, and the next one is earned by running a real test and making a real call.
One free board, once, and a second you earn by testing. The research is the expensive part of this product, so the free board does not renew. And a board you earned by running a real test is a board you will use.
What we gave up: A free board that renews, and a quick way to a second board.
What it is
Your first board is free, and it comes with starter credits for the research on that board. A credit pays for one research step. A second free board is not bought: you earn it by doing the thing this product exists for. Buying more credits or boards is not open yet.
How to use it
- Start with something you would really build. Your free board is one board, so a throwaway first start uses it up.
- Spend credits on purpose. Steps that do fresh research use one credit each, for example starting a discovery, writing the Blueprint and finding where your people gather. The card for finding where your people gather says "uses 1 research credit" before you tap, and a scan card says a scan cannot be taken back. Other steps do not tell you first, and the product shows no running balance today.
- Talking to Iris, your AI guide, does not use credits.
- Your coding agent comes with Pro. Connecting Claude Code, Codex or Cursor in Settings is on Pro and Studio, not Free. On Free the card in Settings does not make a key. Build prompts come with Pro too.
- To earn a second board, run a real test on your board with real people, and make a real call on what you found. Your results are taken at your word. The only person a made-up result fools is you. If you reach the limit screen before you have earned one, it tells you in words what is still missing.
What it will never do
- Use a credit when you talk to Iris.
- Stop you reading a board you already made, because you have run out of credits or boards.
If something looks off
- A step failed. If a step fails, its credit is normally given back. Wait the time the screen names, then press Try again. A step that runs and finds little still uses its credit. If you think a failure cost you a credit, use Tell Omer.
- Your first run failed. If it fails after your board exists, the board is still yours and the later steps can be retried. If you think a failure cost you your free board, use Tell Omer and we will look.
- A screen says you already have your free board. It names your board and says what to do next. Your board is untouched.
- A screen says your starter credits are used up. New AI work and searches stop for now, and what you made stays on your board. You cannot buy credits yet, nothing is charged and no card is asked. If you want more, use the link on that screen.
- A screen says we are busy. Nothing is wrong with your account, and your board is untouched. At busy times a live search may be skipped, and the rest of the board still builds.
